✦ For the adults in their corner
What is Mogo, actually?
"Fewer battles. More self-awareness. Because your kid is building the skill themselves."
Mogo isn't a monitoring tool. It's a self-direction tool. Your kid learns to read their own brain, which means fewer meltdowns, fewer battles, fewer times you have to ask "how are you feeling?" and get nothing back. They already know. Mogo helped them figure it out.
Mogo is a daily wellbeing tool your kid uses for themselves. Not therapy. Not an academic tracker. Not a school management system. A place to check in with their brain, keep a private journal, capture big ideas, take a break when they need one, and build executive functioning and self-direction skills, on their own terms, within the healthy boundaries you set together.
Questions parents ask
What does my kid actually do in Mogo?
▾
Mogo helps your kid do the things you've been prompting, without you having to ask. That's the whole point.
- 🧠Brain check, 20 seconds every day. What is my brain doing right now? No wrong answers. Builds self-awareness over time.
- 🌅Prep for the day, Mogo helps them think through what's ahead, what they need, and what might be hard. Before you have to ask.
- ✅Checklists, their own lists, built by them, for the things they actually need to do. Morning routines, tasks, whatever matters to them.
- 🎯Daily and weekly goals, set by them, tracked by them. Not assigned. Not graded. Just theirs.
- 🌸Self-care, brain breaks, rest, regulation. They choose when. They choose how long. Mogo supports, never judges.
- 📓Private journal, speak it, type it, or don't. Always private. Nobody reads it.
- 💡Big ideas, a place to capture thoughts before they disappear. ND brains move fast.
- ⭐Streak and progress, celebrates every day they show up. Rest days count. No shame, no penalties.
- 🛡️Screen time support Coming soon, they set their own limits. Mogo checks in with them. No lectures from you required.
How does Mogo help with executive functioning?
▾
Executive functioning (EF) is the brain's ability to plan, manage time, regulate emotion, and act on intentions. Mogo builds these skills through daily practice, not worksheets, not prompts from adults. Your kid checks in with their brain, notices patterns over time, and starts to know what they need before they're asked. That self-knowledge is the foundation of EF. It also means they can tell you what they need, in their own words, on their own terms.
What do they share with me?
▾
Only what they choose. The journal is always private. You cannot see it, we cannot see it, nobody can. Their check-in data belongs to them. We will send you a note when their account is set up so you know it exists. That's it, unless they decide to share more.
How is my kid's data stored? Can they log in from any device?
▾
Mogo works in two modes depending on whether a trusted adult email has been added.
Without a trusted adult email: Everything is stored on the kid's device only. It works fully, but if they clear their browser or switch devices, their data doesn't transfer. Their journal is always device-only regardless.
With a trusted adult email: Brain check data, streaks, XP, and their profile sync securely to Mogo's database (Supabase, hosted in Sydney, Australia). They can log in from any phone, tablet, or computer. Their journal remains device-only. It never goes to any server.
When you add your email, Mogo sends you a rescue code. If your kid switches devices, you share that 6-character code with them and they type it in. Their whole Mogo loads straight away. No password is ever created or stored.
Your kid is never locked out. If a payment lapses, the core app keeps working.

Is Mogo good for neurodivergent kids?
▾
Mogo was designed for neurodivergent (ND) brains first, not adapted for them after the fact. The Chief Design Authority, Bee Queen 2.0, is AuDHD (autistic and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, combined), twice exceptional (2E), and gifted. She designed every feature because nothing existed that worked for her brain.
Neurodivergence is a spectrum and an umbrella. Mogo is designed for kids who are:
- ✦Autistic
- ✦Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- ✦Twice exceptional (2E) or gifted
- ✦Pathological demand avoidance (PDA)
- ✦Rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD)
- ✦Dyslexia
- ✦Anxiety
- ✦Sensory differences
- ✦Any brain that doesn't fit one box
These are not edge cases in Mogo's design. They are the starting point.
ND-first design makes it better for every brain.
If something in Mogo doesn't work for your kid's brain, please tell us. hi@mymogo.world
When Mogo works better for one more kid, it works better for every kid. That's our mission.
A transparency note
Mogo is a wellbeing and self-direction tool, not a clinical or therapeutic product. It is designed using universal design principles, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) as its ethical foundation. These frameworks mean kids' agency, privacy, and dignity are not features, they are rights that Mogo is designed to uphold. Mogo does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional support.
Does Mogo use AI with my kid?
▾
No. There is no artificial intelligence (AI) interaction for kids in Mogo. No chatbot. No generated responses. No model reads what they write. The journal is private and no algorithm touches it. Sara, the founder, uses AI to build and improve Mogo. Your kid does not interact with it.
What does Mogo never do?
▾
- ✕ No ads. None. Ever. Your kid's attention is not a product.
- ✕ No selling data. Not to anyone. Not anonymised, not aggregated, not to researchers without explicit consent.
- ✕ No artificial intelligence (AI) reading journals. No model touches what they write.
- ✕ No lock-out. The core app is free permanently. Your kid is never cut off because of a payment.
- ✕ No shaming. Ever. No streak penalties. No "you missed 3 days." No judgment. Not in language, not in design.
- ✕ No "tell mum or dad." We say "trusted adult." Not every kid has the same people around them, and not every adult in a kid's life is safe.
- ✕ No lock-in. When your kid leaves Mogo, everything leaves with them. Their data, their journal, their streak. Theirs to keep or delete.
Is it free?
▾
Yes. Mogo is free to use every day. No sign up needed to try it.
To save your kid's brain checks, XP, and streak across devices, a trusted adult adds their email. Mogo works on any smartphone, tablet, or desktop. Once they add their email, Mogo sends them a rescue code. If your kid ever switches devices, the trusted adult shares that code and their whole Mogo loads straight back.
The journal is always private and stays only on their device. It is never sent anywhere.
No kid is ever locked out. Core Mogo is free forever. See founding member details at the bottom of this page.
Who built this?
▾
"Bee Queen 2.0 is AuDHD (autistic and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), twice exceptional (2E), and gifted. She is the founder and Chief Design Authority. She designed every feature in Mogo because nothing existed that actually worked for her brain. She holds final approval on everything that ships. Not a mascot. The founder."
Sara brings global experience in rights-based design, disability inclusion, and emerging technology, work grounded in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and universal design principles. Mogo is that methodology applied to the one problem that mattered most.
